Responsibilities: WellFlorida Council is a resource for county health departments, community-based organizations, government agencies & healthcare facilities. Well Florida is known for producing the county health needs assessments.

Members oversee Well Florida’s budget, advocate for WellFlorida’s services and may advise the county commission on health planning for their county, the region and the state. Meetings are held once a month at WellFlorida Council in Gainesville. Visit WellFlorida.org for more information & to view the calendar of county commission meetings. 

• Members shall be providers or purchasers of health care services including physicians, dentists, nurses, health facility administrators, & members of governing bodies of health facilities. 
• Members serve two-year terms.
